how do you make an icon using photoshop? can you give me tips?

cause i’m going to work on one but i don’t know how. so can you help me or give me an url of a photoshop tutorial regarding making an icon. thanks. Ü

Hi. An icon is just a bitmap with a different extention.
You can even use paintbrush.
Create a graphic with low number of colors. 16 colors at the most. Then find the file to rename it.
Change the .bmp to .ico
